Plastic shower curtain liners, yeah man, they're super convenient, easy to use, easy to

throw away when they get a bunch of mold and mildew, however, not only is it plastic,

which is wasteful and harmful to our environment, these plastic shower curtains contain literally

a plethora of toxic chemicals that are aerosolized.

To our bodies, to our noses, when the center for health, environment, and justice tested

PVC shower curtains, they found 108 different, volatile organic compounds that were released

from the shower curtain into the air for over 28 days.

Fortunately, there are some great alternative shower curtain material like linen, organic

cotton, hemp that can be washed and reused, and you don't have to get this blast of PVC

plastics.
