0:23.6	We have been studying for the last several weeks the name, not just any name, not just a name, no the name of our great God.
0:45.8	And most recently we've been discussing the names related to our Savior, the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
0:54.0	I want to take you back to the passage of Scripture where we most recently were,
0:57.9	Matthew chapter number 22, where Jesus is having a conversation with a group of religious leaders.
1:04.3	May I just say that even religious people have to come to know Jesus Christ in a personal way. That it has to be more than religion,
1:12.9	it has to be a relationship, it has to be more than knowing things about God, it has to be
1:18.4	knowing him personally. And Christ is revealing himself through his names. Listen to Matthew
1:25.2	22 beginning in verse 41.
1:30.0	While the Pharisees were gathered together,
1:33.1	Jesus asked them, saying,
1:34.5	What think ye of Christ?
1:38.5	Whose son is he? They say unto him, the son of David.
1:43.2	He saith unto them, how then doth David in spirit call him Lord?
1:48.6	Saying, the Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou on my right hand,
1:56.2	till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions. Do you see the names
2:04.1	that the Lord uses here? He uses the name Christ. He uses the son of David. He uses the Lord. He uses
2:12.9	my Lord. All of these names you see are connected and they are all centered in the person of Messiah
