12.01 this morning. The WGA is set to vote to ratify the contract,

and we finally got a look last night at the all-important terms of their deal. And they're pretty good.

The writers got wage increases, 5% in the first year, gains in both domestic and foreign residuals,

a bunch of other financial improvements. Those are similar to what the Directors Guild got.

That was negotiated without a five-month strike, of course. But there's a lot more here that

wasn't offered to the writers back on May 1st. On the issues we've talked about in the show,

they've got specific language in there that AI can't write or rewrite literary material.

considered source material. That's important for the credit process. It basically means that
