Welcome back to Buck I Talk. I'm Stephen Means. That's Stefan Christnick. This is your

Monday podcast. The NFL Combine is officially over. As of today Christnick this is your Monday podcast the NFL combine is officially

over as of today I think this is actually the last like official day of the NFL

combine but it's been over in terms of like coverage for a couple of days now Stefan was up there

for us covering the 11 players from Ohio State who did end up going to the combine. Not all of them participated, but the

ones who did. Steph I almost feel like there are three pillars to the Ohio State football program

and it's Ryan Day as the head coach. It's Mark Pantone as the GM and it's Mick Marotti as the

strength and conditioning coaches. I would say most college football programs at this point, those are your three pillars,

like how in the NFL, it's like your quarterback, your head coach, your GM, or your

quarterback, your GM, your head coach, and your owner in college football, it's those three guys.

I also think those three pillars have their own national championship game, right?

Their own college football

playoffs, their own things that they're graded off of. For Ryan Day, it's Michigan. It's how they're

doing the playoff, how they do in the big games. For Mark Bantone, it's every signing day. And

apparently now the transfer portal. Those are probably where you grade him. And then for Mick Marotti,

it's the NFL Combine.

So it's essentially one guy is in charge of bringing players into the program.

One guy is in charge of what happens when they're in the program.

And the third guy is kind of judged on how you send them out.
