How's going everybody? My name is Kyle O'Grady. I'm a through hiker. I'm a backpacker. I'm a huge hiking nerd. And every single week on this podcast, we chat with other hiking nerds about their experiences on

the trail. This is a amazing episode. Elise Ott is on the show. She has hiked the PCT. She most

recently hiked the CDT in 2022. And that was what we focused most of the conversation on in the episode today.

The CDT, I just feel like it has this, this, oh my God, I don't even know how to describe it,

this allure, like, it's just, it's the least hiked of the big three Triple Crown trails.

A lot of people think it's the hardest. And so I don't know,

it's just fun to talk about this trail. And I want to hike it at some point in the near future.

And so I just basically asked Elise a bunch of questions that I am curious about when it comes to
