deconstruction of the administrative state, as it were, he's the former member of the US House

of Representatives representing Florida's 13th congressional district. One and only David Jolly.

Hey, David, welcome to the podcast, man. It's great to be with you. You're very kind, but I'll take it.

No, no, dude, I look at it's a great pleasure to call you a colleague and buddy over at MSNBC.

That's right. You're one of the few voices on the Republican side or in the Republican space,

because I know some folks are transitioning or have transition. I'm just trying to give people

to stay here in the house and help me keep at least one light bulb. You know, Michael, we're

going to have a conversation. I got the question the other day. I did leave the party last September.

As we were talking the reason being, my wife and I were expecting our first kid, and it forced me

to think about things a little differently. But I got the question the other day, shouldn't you stay

and try to save the party? My response was, what's left to save? I hate to say that because I know

you're still with the party. I'd love to have that conversation with you one day.

Well, I'll just put this little buggy a year, which will trip our conversation, so we'll make

sure we have it. I look at it this way and folks who follow me on the podcast know, because I've

said this before, it says, if I come to your home, however I got there, either you invited me,
