the magic of electrons and here in person. It's great to see a lot of familiar faces, and thank you all for your support of the Center for the Political Future.

A few words about the center before we dive into midterm, madness, and beyond as we take a look at what was really a most remarkable midterm, I think, in my 30-plus years of hanging around politics. And we're going to

dive into every aspect of it and look a little bit at the future. 24, being political junkies,

we're more than happy to get going on the next one already. So the center exists to do multiple

things. First, we help kids here find and discover the world of practical politics.

We have a muscular internship program because we believe nothing is a better experience

for somebody interested in this than actually going out into the world and doing it

to kind of butt-wards what they learn here, studying all the classical political science things.
