Hey, I want to show you all a picture. This is from, if we can get it, not me, the picture.

If we got it, do we got it? Yeah, there it is.

That picture is from mean a lot to maybe

in this week three years ago. And I know that picture doesn't mean a lot to maybe many of you in this room,

but that picture never got posted on Instagram

or anything like that. That was the first rendition of the art

sent to Donna and I as we prepared to make the announcement that Passion City Church

was coming to Washington, D.C.

This week, three years ago, we got that and began to kick it around.

And at that point, there was just a handful of people who even knew Passion City Church was going to launch in DC.

Louis, our global pastor, Giglio, and Shelly, our art team, obviously, Donna and I,

and just a handful of others that were deeply praying.

Three years ago, this was a prayer in the hearts of a few people.

A year after that, we were here in the city.

And if God began to move in a year after that in 2018 there were 200 people gathered in a

community group on Capitol Hill. Unbelievable. 200 of us getting together. There

was no band. There wasn't a lot of lights except the house lights. But we were in there and we would just open the word of God and journey through the Gospel of Mark as we talked about the person of Jesus, what he was like and what he wants to do in the hearts of those who trust him.

That was two years ago.
