1996, reform theological seminary.

I remember a professor said,

hey, how many of you take scripture seriously

and we all raised our hands.

Of course we did. He went through exactly like, you know, is it inspired by God? Is it faithful and true? Does it misrepresent the facts? Is it saying accurate things according to genre? We all agreed. And he said, well, you're real practically Baltimoreian. And we're like, what do you mean? He said, do you all believe that, like, angels actually exist?

That they might even be in the room.

Yeah. Baltimore and we're like, what do you mean? He said, do you all believe that like angels actually

exist, that they might even be in the room? Yeah, right. And we all looked at each other like,

that's weird. Just by asking the question, he proved the point that we all went, we don't even

think about angels at all. Some of us came from backgrounds where they were over-emphasized.

And so we actually swung to the other extreme.

And so there is this kind of, you said it, Walter, the naturalistic that we're practically more naturalistic than we like to think about, you know, the reality of the world is, you know, the spiritual realm and all of that.

But when it comes down to it, I should probably think about angels
