What never going to happen to me, event, happened to you?

I won a raffle in fourth grade. The prize was a duffel bag. I was so happy. I just won a motorcycle at work about a week ago.

I've got two. The first was my father having an affair. The second was driving eight hours for a job interview, only

to realise that I had PM and AM mixed up, so I missed the interview by 12 hours. I cried

the whole way back home. Getting my house raided by the police, was living with a roommate

at the time, and he was a bit of a green herb user, but not a dealer.

We think that he bought something from someone who was being watched, and the cops thought

that my flatmate was in distribution.

I got shot.

I definitely didn't see that one coming.

I was walking in downtown Montreal a few weeks back, and someone came up to me on the street

and asked if I wanted to buy any substances. As a kid growing up, and someone came up to me on the street and asked if I

time, but this was the first time. This happened to me in downtown red deer. I told the guy

no, I don't do that. In reality, I was just highly suspicious of this guy. I wonder if he was a

narque or wanting to steal money. I mean,

who the heck sells or buys from a random person in the street these days? What a minefield to

navigate for both parties. Remember, just say no, unless there's a bunch of cool kids doing it.

When I was 18, I was offered 10 grand to marry a girl from Sweden. I'm American and she wanted to stay in the US.

I didn't go through with it.

As someone who's lived in both countries, I've got to say that she was either an Americanophile or, more likely, not actually from Sweden.

It may be cold there, but the standard of living is through the roof
