Hello and welcome to another edition of the

Blyo York show. If you've ever listened to this podcast, you know it is the no

chit-chat podcast. Do not sit around and talk about what the

weather is before we get going. So today we're going to get going on the

topic at hand which is the Hunter Biden laptop, the stories of his emails

originally published in the New York Post.

And there are a few specific aspects of that that I want to talk about today. But I think I want to

start with an update. If you remember, immediately after the story was published,

Facebook announced that it would limit the distribution of the story and

Twitter banned it all together. Twitter eventually backed off, although

they've still blacked out the New York Post from Twitter itself.

And Facebook said they were going to be checking the story.

Now I'm going to read you a tweet from a Facebook

spokesperson on October 14th, we're talking a week ago, while I will intentionally

not link to the New York Post, I want to be clear that this story is eligible to be fact-checked by Facebook's third-party fact-checking partners.

In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform.

So the question is, how's it going with those third party fact checking partners?

I actually asked that question, have not had an answer yet, but you know they have had a week to do this. This is a very hot

story and there's a lot of time pressure with an election coming up. So you'd think

the fact checkers would really be on it. But so far, nothing. We don't know yet. So that's the story with the fact checkers. So what I wanted to talk about today is what standard of proof

we should apply to this Hunter BidenBiden laptop story.
