Welcome to the Peter King Podcast. It is the last podcast of the season with my good

friend Miles Simmons of NBC Sports. Miles we're going to have a good time today as you can see. I am not in my normal

layer in Brooklyn. I'm actually in Berkeley, California, where my daughter and her wife live and we had a really fun time here.

My daughter graduated from grad school at Cal on Sunday and we got to see

grandson Freddie's Little League game on Friday night. So it's really been a nice little long weekend,

headed back to the East Coast later today.

But how you doing, Miles?

I'm doing well, Peter.

Not as good as you, though, man.

That sounds like an awesome weekend, man,

not only in graduation.

I mean, awesome, congratulations on that, first of all,

but I mean, to see your grandson get to play baseball,

I'm sure that was pretty special for you, I'm sure.

It was fun, and last night we took him to the Giants game.

Oh nice.

And I think he was less, he was less into, you know, started a game itself and more into me explaining so Freddie is six and a half and I was explaining

Bryce Harper to him and sort of, you know, it was Giants Phillies.

And I was explaining the two greatest things that happened were, first of all,

when I explained to Freddie that Bryce Harper had been in a fight and he was kind of a

villain. You know Freddie knows what a villain is and he just was he could not get over that but look at him he sort it he looks like such a nice guy and everything and I said he is a nice guy I'm sure but a lot of people really don't love Bryce Harper and so we were talking about that for two or three innings

Made it through six innings of the game and had a great time so it was all good, but the the funniest thing of the evening was this was really cool is Freddie
