tragic events in new zealand at the end of last week which over the course of the weekend

focused the mind very unpleasantly and uncomfortably upon how muslim people are portrayed in

our media.

And if you want to find the vilest examples of Islamophobia,

a word I am absolutely and categorically reintroducing to my vocabulary after,

with good intentions, having fallen into the trap of believing the people who punt it

when they sought to describe it as something more nuanced.

Australia, America, the United Kingdom

seemed to be the foulest receptacles of these sort of outlooks.

And what do they have in common?

What's that media mogul?

What's his name?

It owns huge amounts of media in all three of those markets.

It'll come to me.

It's on the tip of my tongue.
