Ryan, we're in like the doldrums of the summer here.

And, you know, we obviously we have been focused on the Bruins off season.

So it's sometimes good to get

a little bit of outside perspective obviously you are in the region but covering uh the whole league and

as well as college which we will get into later but what are your thoughts on the brun's off season

and what they did kind of just adding depth and not really doing anything too big.

I feel like this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I don't think the Bruins are as bad as

they were last year. Just like on paper, taking it at like face value, how good the roster is,

one through 20. I don't think if you ran back that exact roster and maybe like the Jeremy Swamen performance

wasn't as bad, I think everybody's like, are they great?

No, but like are they as bad as they were last year?

Also, no.

I think, you know, maybe there were like a fringe playoff because we didn't

go into last year going, boy, these guys stink. They might have had problems, you know,

like everybody would have said, oh yeah, you know, the center depth, blah, blah, blah, but they

weren't like horrible. And so for them to like just tinker around the edges in a frankly very bad free agency class and without them having like a

ton of assets they could trade for better NHL help I don't know what you wanted them to do you
