And in today's episode, we're going to talk about adversity message I got from Jasper on Instagram.

He says, Eddie, you asked for inspiration for a video, or in this case, podcast episode.

And I like the style of the heroes cry and the story it tells, which is a poem or

a spoken word video I put out a year, maybe two years ago.

He says, I think it is important to shed light that the guys at the top also had doubts

on the journey, also doubted whether

they could work hard the next day.

Which brings up what I believe is one of the most important lessons we can learn in life.

The people that we, I call them in this video the one that he's referencing heroes heroes, the people that, you know, we sort of

place on a pedestal or really value their contributions to the world, there's a tendency to

think those people were cut from a different cloth. You know, they have something intrinsically,

we don't, maybe some natural ability, whatever.

And what I would advocate, what I truly believe is that's not the case.

There are people that faced hardship just like you and I.

But every time they walked up to that intersection, that crossroad,

they made a set of decisions that propelled them forward.

As Robert Frost says, when the road diverged in the wood, right? And when he's looking at a path between left and right,

they consistently

chose the one that separated them. That's what makes the difference. To accomplish something

or succeed in something in the long run does not imply that there was a simpler path, a less obstructed path, right?

In an easier journey, it means you handled or looked at the adversity a very specific way.
