All right. Now I know we're in a series called Welcome Home talking about the

Prodigal Sun and I'm going to start in loop 15 but I'm going to read the same

scripture that we read for the last two weeks and so you you don't have to open

your Bible to loop 15 you just might want to at some point be at John 12 and Hebrews 12, all right?

And we'll get over to those scriptures in a moment.

And here's the title of this week's message.

What's your Trump card? Now, you'll just have to forgive me if you grew up in a

church where playing cards was a sin, because I played a lot of cards growing up and paid for my college tuition things like that with that but anyway

That's kind of my background so you know right after I got saved I used to hustlepool and this is true I didn't tell the other services but your privilege

I want to tell you this. I used to hustle Pool and I got saved and the guy that sang

with me, we did revivals, youth revivals, the guy that did the singing, back to anyone called Worship, it was leading the singing, he was fourth in the nation in bowling and he would hustle bowlers.

And so he and I would go to the bowling place, you know, where they had pool tables and he would hustle the bowlers not hustle the pool players and this was after I got saved

Now listen, here's what we did though. We would say to them you know if you win I'll give you $20. If I win you have to come to the

revival you have to come to church and we had 27 people get saved in one way that we hustled to church.

But the deacons got mad at us because they said we were gambling.

And we said, it's not gambling because they don't have a chance you know there's no chance involved

so anyway so I'm using a card illustration so so just forgive me okay if you

if cards is a sin to you, all right?

But here's the point.

You can be playing, not poker now.

You can just be playing cards, hearts, spades, or something like that, and you think you're

doing well, and then someone plays a trump card on you.
