Let's start with something very tragic and depressing. Last night in Las Vegas, a gunman opened fire from one of the top floors of the Mandelae Bay.

At an outdoor concert festival, killing at least 58 people and during more than 500, and what is the deadliest mass shooting in American history.

There were about 10 seconds of rapid fire, gunfire, followed by two more bursts. Police found 10 rifles in the hotel room. It seems like it was a fully automatic weapon.

What we know about the shooter so far, it's named Stephen Patek from a suburb of Las Vegas. It seems to be no significant prior criminal history. The interview to his brother said he's dumbfounded, known, known, religious or political affiliation.

It doesn't seem to have any social media accounts. Obviously, officials are still investigating this to try to figure out who he was and what happened. The shooter killed himself as the police entered the hotel room.

Initial thoughts on this yet the another mass shooting, probably the 270, third, I think, and 274 days so far in 2017, something like that.

The statistics are very obvious. The country has more guns. There are more gun deaths. The shooter suicide. It's also true for homicide. It's also true in a state level. We need more enforcement of gun laws. We need smarter, better gun laws. We need to listen to people like Chris Murphy from Connecticut who's been calling for this since Newtown.

It is so fucking frustrating that every time this happens, you have morons like how he curts is the one in my Twitter feed right this second gun control is a legitimate issue, but the Dems already raising after Las Vegas massacre.

Could we just have a day before plunging in the people got shot to never day. Okay, so let's talk about it right now. What does Howard Kurtz need the day for? What's he doing with that day? Is he doing it when people say we shouldn't talk about these things right away.

They're saying it because they actually believe that because it hurts them to hear it because they think they're doing it on behalf of the victims and the victims families. They're advocating on behalf of people they don't know and haven't heard from and haven't spoke to many of whom will be a part of this debate themselves, some of whom as we've seen also with with protest at around the national anthem or protest of police violence around the national anthem.
