Brian Daibald didn't waste any time, even though he was non-committal after the game about

Russell Wilson. He came out yesterday and said, yes, Russ is the starter. I don't know if he addressed.

I was looking for it. If Jackson Dart's going to be the backup quarterback again, it's going to

be the same situation. I wouldn't do that. I would not throw Jackson Dart out there on the road against the Dallas Cowboys. The way that that offensive line played,

there's just no way that I am throwing him into the NFL at disjuncture. So if the offense

really is struggling, I'd make James the number two quarterback and then think about Jackson

Dart down the road. But there's been this bit of a controversy about the giants who I guess are not allowing Jackson

Dart to speak to the media, which is violating the NFL's media policy where Jackson

Dart accepted the request by the beat reporters.

And then someone from the giant staff came in and said no you're

not allowed to talk to him i mean what do they i mean i understand that they're trying to quell

a quarterback controversy but that's going to happen no matter what if the team stinks like what are

they worried about are you shocked that we hear and we're dealing with this?

Well, whether I'm shocked or not, I don't understand why they're doing it.

You know what I'm saying?

I guess they just are just trying to go through what they think is their plan and to try to keep as much distraction out of the way.

And from all accounts, if they did interview Jackson Dart, he would answer the questions correctly. He's not going to do anything stupid. He's not going to say, yeah, well, if I'm in there, you know, we're going to look completely different. He would say something to the effect of, look, man, I am here. I'm trying to learn and i'm going to support the guy who's

playing that's my job if i am asked to play i will be ready to go i i'm working hard to just make sure

that i know everything there is to know about playing quarterback in the NFL that to me

seems like the kind of kid he is and that's the kind of answers he would be giving. Yeah, I don't like the protecting the guy thing.

If he's going to be the face of this organization, he's going to have to deal with all sorts of things.

So get the experience.
