during which we do some critiques on various subject matters and talk about things not only from

an intersectional lens, but also within the context of this podcast, societal collapse, and

reconstruction.

So they were able to successfully pretty much get rid of smallpox for the most part at this point, despite the

fact that, again, there's a massive amount of people that didn't believe that the vaccines were

safe or good or any of these things. The problem was that at some point in the late 1800s,

the British government essentially said there's too many of them.

We need to at least let them air their grievances to us in a formal setting and consider what they have to say.

So they decided to listen to them.

The reason why the program had been so successful at this point was that there were threats of fines

and imprisonment for parents if they didn't let their kids get vaccinated.
