And even with all his vast knowledge,

all his vast experience, he fundamentally said,

I am going to sit down and watch this World Series as a fan.

And we should all be doing that.

Whether we're a fan of the Dodgers or the Yankees or neither,

if we're fans of baseball we ought to be enjoying what we have before us
