0:38.4	elections. So today, we'll get an update on what's been happening. Let's dive in.
0:46.7	The presidential election may be in the past, but it caused a lot of states to change the way

0:55.1	a number of new laws this year around voting. Our correspondent, Pamela Kirkland, is here to give
1:00.5	us the rundown on what's been going on and why it matters. Voting rights is something you're
1:07.3	probably hearing about in the news lately. A big Supreme Court ruling upheld
1:12.9	two Arizona election measures. One banned the collection of absentee ballots or vote-by-mail ballots
1:19.7	by anyone other than a relative or caregiver, and the other throughout any ballots cast in the wrong

1:33.4	The court voted six to three to uphold the laws, but some people think this could be bad news in making sure everyone has access to the ballot.

1:38.0	While some U.S. citizens gained the right to vote in the United States as early as 1789,
