How's it going, my friend?

Well, as of the time we have started recording this on Thursday, the first game of the Major League

baseball season, on domestic soil at least, has begun, and we are only an hour away from

the first pitch of the Dodgers season, and listeners at home cannot see what Leslie is

wearing, but I assure you that, without any question Leslie is all bedecked, as we say,

in Dodgers paraphernalia. And so we're going to attempt to record this podcast as quickly as

humanly possible because while Leslie is not technically throwing out the first pitch, she will

technically stab me if we do not get this podcast done by the time of the first pitch.

That's Dan's fancy way of saying, happy opening day to those who celebrate.

So I know no one really cares for us to talk about baseball, and we're not going to do that here.

So we're going to instead get started where we usually do with headlines.

Number one.

On the new series front, consider this ER 2.0.

Noah Wiley will start in a 15 episode straight to series medical drama for Max

from former ER bosses John Wells and R. Scott Gemmel called The Pit.

I am excited about this one. This puts to rest the whispers that had been coming up through the grapevine over the past couple of months,

well, more like last year over the few months in the middle toward the end of the late last year,

about an ER revival. So consider this maybe the next best thing, hence 2.0.
