Ryan Day.

Because it is official.

Ryan Day is calling place for the college football playoff.

Brian Hartland will still be around.

He said that Brian Hartline will be working specifically with the wide receivers.

Brian Hartline, of course, is going to be taking over as a new head coach at South Florida. And that's where he spent the bulk of last week trying to put his staff together. And they were trying to see if he would be able to balance both of those things. That ends up not being the case. So to make life easier, Ryan Day is going to take back over play calling. This will be the first, ironically enough, the last time he called plays was in the cotton bowl against

Missouri and that didn't go well but that didn't go well for a bunch of different reasons

and that had nothing to do with football that's that new that's that bucket the other two big

buckets of the day are Ryan day did essentially confirm that Tegra Shimola will be missing time

he said he'll be out for a little while be a while until he back. He didn't put a definite answer on how long he will be out

though. And so Gabe Van Sicle and Josh Padilla are going to continue to roll at right guard over the

next 10 days. So I think it'll be interesting to see how they deploy that. That's bucket number two.
