and yes, they're wearing masks and staying safe as they hit the road to count billboards.

All right, we're at Exit 52, 18th Street, starting to see some billboards. So you might

be wondering why'd they do such a thing? That's a reasonable question. Luckily, I'm joined by one of

those producers now. Stephen Jackson. Stephen, what were you doing? Hey, Alex. Well, it really comes down to this guy.

It was just like a thought that popped into my head one day when I was driving.

This is Jay Penediker, and he got in touch with us because lately he's been noticing something kind of weird around Chicago.

When I'm driving on the highway, I always see a lot of billboards for lawyers and law firms and things like that.

And it seems like a disproportionate number of billboards, like compared to other businesses

and things like that. So I wonder why. Well, we wonder too. And it turns out the answer

doesn't just involve basic principles of marketing, although that's definitely part of it.

You also have to talk about the history of transportation, although that's definitely part of it. You also have to talk

about the history of transportation, social class, professional ethics. There's just a lot involved.
