Mike Rutherford here in snowy Louisville, Kentucky. You got hit with a vote. I guess a couple

inches and counting still now. I think it's also a little snowy up there in Columbus, Ohio. How is Dan Starr and the family up there?

Well, yeah, kids, kids have a snow day, which, I mean, hey, I love kids. I'm sure that's like

the highlight of the year for kids getting a snow day. For old Dan, trying to get some work done,

not really the highlight. So luckily enough, my sister sister-in-law she lives kind of right down

the street so got together with the cousins and they're over there right now so um but yeah i'm sure

we'll be out shoveling there's like no here's one thing about columbus that drives me and say it's a

very flat city the the the sledding is just so poor compared

to Louisville like Louisville you had so many options um Columbus it's it's very rare to find like

you know our best hill is probably like 35th on Louisville's best hill. Maybe you should move back, just saying.

Yeah, I miss it.

By the way, welcome to old Mike's world when it comes to the kids being there when you're

trying to get some stuff done.

I remember when Mary and I lived here and it was just us before we had kids, and I was

like so spoiled when it came to working conditions.

Like, you know, she would come down and she like asked me some questions. And if I was in the middle

of writing something, I'd be like, okay, like I need to focus. And I would always, I would need

perfect quiet, no distractions to get anything done. And I was like, I don't know how anybody ever worked in like those those busy newsrooms that you see in the movies back in the day and now it sounds like someone's being murdered upstairs

probably 75% of the day if you didn't know any better you would think that one of the kids

is quite literally like just like stabbing one of the other kids to death it's just constant

screaming constant crying and like you just have to learn how to live with it we have every really like just like stabbing one of the other kids to death. It's just constant screaming,
