Here's Rick with part one of a message called What's the Solution?

We've been in this series that I'm calling Framing Your World View.

And we're learning to look at life from God's viewpoint, as it really is, not from our limited human perspective, but seeing life from God's point of view.

And we're looking at the major questions of life.

We started the first week with, why does it matter what I believe?

Does it really matter what I believe?

I mean, we dealt with what we call

the sincerity myth that it doesn't matter what you believe as long as you're sincere. The fact

is you can be sincerely wrong. You can sincerely, you know, make mistakes. I've done it many,

many times and so have you. And so it does matter what we believe. If it's not the truth,

then we have a shaky foundation when the earthquakes of life come through. So then the second way we looked at, well, how do you know what's true? And how do you know what's real? What's real and what's unreal in the world of reality television? A lot of things that really aren't that real, virtual reality. And we talked about the ways that you can test the truth. How do you know

if somebody's telling you the truth or not? And we looked at that in quite detail. Then the

third week we looked at who am I and where did I come from? And the implications of that in terms

of your value, your vision, your direction in life. And then last week we dealt with the question on, how did the world get so messed up?

And we talked about the fact that we live in a broken planet, that when sin and evil

entered the world, that we live on a fallen planet.
