Now it's five days or so since the local election results came in.

Katie, what's really the sentence in Westminster today

now that we've all come back?

As predicted, King Charles has helped Rishi Senak out,

not for the first time in his reign.

At the first, of course, the Windsor Framework.

You have a situation where it was pretty dismal results for the Tories.

In fact, it was over 1,000 Councillors that they lost.

This was a figure that had been bandied

right by the party chairman Greg Hans as part of a damage limitation

so they could spend anything below that as a great success

and beating expectations.

And then they went over it.

So I do think it was worse than lots of people expected.

And it also brought home the fact that the polls are real.
