| 0:33.1 | official Godsplaining rosary. This is a nice, solid piece of work, right? Black and white, it's got St. Dominic on the metal part here and a little godsplain logo on the back of that. It's weighty, it's properly weighted, so you can slow down when you do the rosary. I'm a five to six minute rosary kind of guy, but this, maybe 12, 15, who knows? So it's good for that. It emphasizes the seriousness of prayer. So it's a nice, it's a thick, it's a thick rosary. It's solid, it's intentionally, it's reverent, it's all this kind of stuff. Okay, made of durable materials, so if you slam it indoors, it won't necessarily break immediately. It's made in the USA, so this is an America first rosary, I suppose. And it's crafted by Catholics who pray the rosary, so you can tell when you're praying it that it's made by someone who prays a rosary, too. So I'm thankful for the Catholic woodworkers. All of them. All of them who have offered and made and are making for us this godsplaining rosary. You can find out more information about that on the website. Father Gregory. Hello. Do you like rosaries? I do. Fantastic. Yeah. What was the first rosary you ever had? Do you remember who gave it to you and how you got it? So I have no idea, but my mom used to make rosaries. All right, so my parents had a Catholic bookshop for like 20-something years, and I think in part that started when my mom started making rosaries. Our family went to Medjugary for the first time on pilgrimage in 1991. Rosaries being a big part of that. I remember, like, driving in the car to and from Maine and Buffalo and other places besides Buffalo, where you grew up. We were in the same town, at least for brief stints. Fascinating. And we would make rosaries as a family. Were we ever in Buffalo at the same time? We were. We were definitely in Buffalo at the same time. I mean, like my cousins lived in East Amherst, but... Do you remember seeing me? I remember actually having had the thought at the age of seven, like, wow, look at that mullet. There he is. |
| 2:17.7 | That is a magnificent mullet. Yeah, I mean, I was definitely at your high school when you were at your high school at one point. Because I went to one of my cousins' freshman, like he was a freshman, he was playing football for San Jose Prep. So you would have been there, I think, at the time, as a senior. 96 to 2000, yeah. Yeah, so yeah. |
| 2:34.8 | So I was definitely at your high school while you were at your high school, but I was there |
| 2:37.5 | for a football game. |
| 2:38.4 | So the chances that you were there are low. |
| 2:40.7 | Pretty low. |
| 2:41.3 | Yeah. |
| 2:41.6 | Yeah. |
| 2:42.5 | Fascinating. |
| 2:43.0 | Yeah, exactly. |
| 2:43.5 | You were probably like quiz bowling. |
| 2:45.5 | Probably not. |
| 2:46.6 | Yeah. |
| 2:46.6 | Or, what's the word that? Mock trialing. Mock trialing. |
