Today, I have a short and sweet conversation for you. One thing I want to do unhappy to be here is ask

big questions. That's partly why I'm so into that idea of the 87% club. Where are we putting our time and resources? How can we all listen

more to ourselves and less to those external sources that are telling us we should perform

or think or be a certain way? I also want to ask completely unimportant but still fascinating

questions. Like, for example, what is the difference between a cupcake and a muffin?

This is something that haunted me last summer, so I was thrilled to get to hear from a professional about it.

My guest today is the wonderful Shilpa Uskochovich.

She's a senior test kitchen editor at Bon Appetit, which means she helps develop amazing recipes.

Even just recently, she's made a recipe for deviled eggs, one for broccoli confetti rice,

and one for a strawberry shortcake roll. Today, I am asking her to lend her expertise in the very pressing question about the

difference between a cupcake and a muffin, two inherently delightful, similarly shaped carbby

snacks. So, Shilpa, as I just said, I'm doubling down. Maybe this is just a thinly veiled

excuse to get to hang out with you because I think you're

wonderful.
