Hey, everybody, welcome to Ask Me Anything. And guys, I'm not going to lie. This is the best episode we've ever made. This is it. The one we've all been waiting for, J.D., the question everyone's been asking, and that no one is sure if there's even an answer for. What in the world is the deal with you and Nicholas Kitch?

You know, surprisingly, if I had to list the top three questions, I get asked anywhere

from anybody who's listening to me from any length of time, they always ask this one.

All right, well, this might be a slightly less helpful, ask me anything than we typically give,

but it's a question. I'll answer it. All right.

So it was, I can't remember how long ago it was, maybe eight, nine years ago, I feel like.

I just literally in a sermon made an offhanded comment about, it was some Nicholas Cage movie.

And it was, it was something really anodyne like I just felt

like you know such and such movie and I thought Nicholas Cage was great in this movie just something

like that just something that was very casual I got so much hate back and so much like from people

that I don't know maybe it's a personality quirk of mine or a

flaw I was like I'm just digging in so over the next you know several months I would just

find reasons to bring Nicholas Cage up and I would strengthen it I would say like Nicholas Cage who

you know is one of the most underrated actors of our generation Nicholas Cage the greatest

actor of all time, that it just

kind of became a thing of itself. You know, actually, I enjoy, there's several of his movies.

I enjoy, there's, you know, things, and he's definitely kind of an every man character. But

now it's just more something that's kind of an internal summit joke that people listening in are

like, what in the world is he talking about?

It's an easy win for me because I can just say the words Nicholas Cage and people start laughing.

One of our pastors who's three or four years ago told me if I could work it into 12 sermons in a row that he would take me out to Angus Barn.

And I was happy to oblige.
