Summary

Get ready for a the ride of an academic ride of a lifetime as your favorite hosts Devin Siebold and James Yon chop it up with TikTok teaching sensation, Cathy Cannon (@cannonsfodder). Together we tackle the ups, downs, and downright strange sides of graduation.

We kick off with some zingers, including that infamous Smoker joke and a case of the wrong name at the graduation podium. Devin reminisces about a graduation where just a few students scooped up a landslide of awards, and how he celebrated his own graduation with a visit to everyone's favorite owl-themed fine dining establishment.

As alwqys teachers are back in the headlines, starting with a Connecticut job fair, and a teacher that caught students drawing swastikas responding with a rather drastic solution. Meanwhile, another teacher has been hiding students' gender identities from their parents. We cover a cigarette company offering men three months off for maternity leave, and a hot debate ensues over a teacher showing a film featuring a gay couple.

In a final burst of comedic fury, Devin lays into the absurdity of elementary school graduations and decides to give us his own graduation speech, which is every bit as hilarious and heartfelt as you'd expect.

Join us for this roller-coaster ride as we laugh, rant, and reflect on the wide world of graduation and more!
