Tomorrow's Memorial Day, so that's pretty fun. Do you say anybody know what today is?

Sunday. Sunday. What else is today? Anybody? I'm not hearing what I want to hear.

Jerusalem Day. Come on, you guys. Did you know it's Jerusalem Day? It's a big deal right now.

Jerusalem Day is a mess right now as we speak in Jerusalem uh there's trouble because Jerusalem day is an annual

remembrance of when the Jews back in 67 on June 7th of course they do it on different days to our

calendar because we have a different

calendar than they do. But back in 67, Jerusalem was taken back by the Jews. And so this is the time

they celebrate Jerusalem Day. And they do a flag march with Israeli flag. And it usually is a little

tense. This year, it's a little chaotic over there and

and it's because of the unrest in Jerusalem meanwhile right where we are and are through the Bible

study the Bible deals with this question of why is Jerusalem such a big deal and so it's really

appropriate that we take time this morning to do a little

homework. And I've got a lot to say and a lot to cover. So we better get going. I better hurry because I've

been so late. Last two services were a little late. And if I do that at this service, it'll be not only

chaotic in Jerusalem. It'll be chaotic here in our parking lot. So let's get to it. Zachariah chapter 12, why don't you turn there?

In Zachariah chapter 12, we have this powerful word given to Zachariah the prophet from the

Lord about Jerusalem and the nations that try to handle Jerusalem. Check it out. It's Zachari

12.1 is where we'll begin. There it says the burden of the

word of the Lord for Israel saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens and layeth the foundation

of the earth and former, pardon me, formeth the spirit of man within him.

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all people roundabout when they shall be in siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

And in that day, I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people.
