The Welcome back to the evolution of horror. My name is Mike Munzer as ever. I am your host and what we're bringing you this week is a

little bonus episode a little horror board game special and that's because as I

record this we are smack-bang in the middle of our 30 day

Kickstarter campaign for the first ever evolution of horror board game

called Final Cut.

This is something that I've been working on and developing for three plus years now in secret with

Friends of the Pod Alex Ailing and Mike Lee Graham.

It's a beautiful horror movie themed card game. We announced it during our 24-hour

live stream and on the 19th of February we launched our 30-day Kickstarter campaign.

We were hoping to try and reach our funding goal of 10,000 pounds by the end of the 30 days,

and we ended up reaching 10,000 pounds in the first 90 minutes.

So I want to say a massive thank you to everybody who supported the game,

who's helped us reach our funding goals so far. It's done so much better than I think

any of us were expecting. It's been quite an overwhelming week. Alex and Mike and I were just sort of in shock in that first 90 minutes as we were watching

those Kickstarter numbers kind of go up and up and up.

It was really something to behold. So I want to say a massive thank you to everybody who has

supported the project so far. We set different award tiers and the highest award tiers,

the monster tier and the slasher tier, sold out instantly.

And I know a lot of you guys have been asking if it's possible to release more rewards from the slasher tier.

That's the special edition version of the game

where it comes packaged in a VHS box. That one has been selling like absolute hotcakes.

We released a second batch during that first week on the campaign, and again, they sold out in the first minute.
