Let me invite you to open with me to Ezekiel chapter 36 and maybe pull out those

notes that hopefully you received when you came in today while you're turning.

I want to greet those of you in Montgomery County and Prince William and Louden on Main Ave and different micro sites. It's good to be together across Washington around God's word.

I'm wearing this t-shirt today in light of what we're going to do at the end of our time.

But here at the start, I want to ask a question.

What is so radical about Christianity.

I'm not sure what comes in your mind when you hear the word radical,

but I want to put two pictures in your mind and neither of them is the book I wrote by that name.

So the first picture goes all way back to the original meaning of this word in Latin,

radicalis, and it means that which refers to the root or the core or the essence of something.
