So Renato, Attorney General Merrick Garland has finally appointed a special counsel.

Does that mean that Trump is going to finally be indicted?

So, Aisha, well, I have to say the Special Counsel Jack Smith, it's very big news.

It's interesting to me, it seemed not as big of news to people as the appointment of Robert Mueller.

Like it almost seemed anticlimatic in a way.

I remember when Mueller was appointed, it was just stop the presses my phone was blowing up I think

Partly we've been special counseled out maybe

That's kind of my impression you, we went through two years of Mueller.

Frankly, I think that a lot of people were let down because they had very high expectations, possibly beyond what he could have, what he was capable of delivering on generally, which we can unpack.

And then of course we had sort of a politicization of the special counsel with bar appointing

John Durham to investigate the investigators which you know was like

Wawa ended up with nothing and so I think here people just have a lot of

associations with a special counsel and I don't think they

that maybe there's just a lack of understanding of what

what the purpose is but I agree.
