Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of Purple Insider, presented by Fandul,

Matthew Collar here, along with Mike Schope, our fantasy showpe, WGR 550 and ADP chasing,

and we made it all the way to the end to the Super Bowl and we have so much to talk

about for this game. So many props to break down and analyze. But I did want to get your take

Mike since we haven't talked since Quasi Adafo Mensa was fired by the Minnesota Vikings.

What do you think from, you know, somebody who's not covering it on a day-to-day basis

and sort of seeing it from afar of the fact that the Vikings made that move?

Well, the first thought I had was it's late.

It doesn't seem like it was something that they were prepared to do or wanted to do until

the process went along and maybe there were interviews, of course there were interviews and

internal discussions. I mean, I don't know if it's the same with GMs as it is with coaches,

but when like a month goes by from the end of your season, you're probably behind the eight ball.

So you'll tell me whether you think that that will hurt them.

But I don't know.

I had mixed feelings about him and I would defer to you on almost any question about him.

I thought he was interesting as a hire and definitely credible.

I thought he showed a great personality that

Jefferson thing where Jefferson was dressed up and he didn't know was him. I mean,

they leaned into that a little bit. But the drafts weren't great. And Sam Darnold playing in this

Super Bowl, just unfortunately, there's a lot of bad luck in that.

I mean, that that happened to the Vikings is a tough, it's tough optically.

So, yeah, I mean, hopefully for Minnesota's sake, they can find the person they need,
