What is your proof that adults can throw bigger, stupider tantrums than any of their kids?

I was at the bookstore Borders with my family. My mum saw a toy car that my little brother liked,

so she broke the door on it, and then asked the cashier if she could get a discount on it since

it was broken. The cashier said she wasn't allowed to give discounts, so my mum called her a

stupid fat B word and stormed out of the store. This is one of the more mild incidents with my

mum. Needless to say, I don't talk to her anymore. Okay, one more for those of you asking.

As you can probably tell by the first instance, my mum is not a very nice, nor a very smart

woman. My parents are divorced,

and we had seen my dad every summer since they lived far apart. One summer, all of us kids

decided we wanted to live with our dad. So we floated the idea past mum. She went off on us

about being ungrateful, grounded us, took our phones away so we couldn't talk to our dad,

and that was that, for a while at least.

I used to work as a cashier at a grocery store, and I'd work the express lane, 15 items or less,

and turning away people with hundreds of items was nerve-wracking because it wasn't uncommon for grown

adults to throw a fit over it. Well, my dad's new wife totally lost her mind because she was going through my dad's phone, and in a group text message between him, me and my brother, and my sister-in-law, I sent some pictures I'd taken while we were on vacation at Disney. We took my mom. It was me, husband, eight-year-old son, my mum, my mother-in-law, and my father-in-law.

So naturally, she was in some of the pictures. That started a six-month period of her hounding me

over phone and text and email, threatening me and all around losing her mind. My dad and I no longer

talk. So that was fun.

Not being allowed to watch naughty movies on the computers in the children's section of the

public library.

The children's computers had a content filter on them to prevent this sort of thing from

happening.
