Why are onions so fucking big?

Okay, so it's very funny that you say this because I too have struggled with the size of onions lately.

I mean, they're as big as my head and you're looking at my head.

Yeah. They're huge.

They're huge.

And then it's like you look at a recipe and it's like one medium-sized onion and you're like,

okay, well this is like elephantitis of the onion.

And so what do I do? so I cut it in half and then if I have time

sometimes I just caramelize the shit out of them to use for the rest of the week part of onion and

I don't eat. Oh that's that's a good plan that a functional adult would have.

But I...

Let's be clear.

I came to that after I started wrapping them in Suran wrap and putting them back in the vegetable bin where everything then smelled like a very aggressive onion.

You're going to make your fridge smell terrible. My husband does that and he cannot be stopped.

His desire to wrap up extra onions is just,

it's more powerful than the smell of onions in a fridge.

It's just, it will not end.

But yeah, they're too big.

Give me a medium-sized onion. I pray for a medium-sized onion.
