state of the race on Tuesday. And that sort of email indicates to us journalists

and the networks that the candidate is probably going to drop out of the race and

the cameras need to be there and they need to be rolling to pick up the final words

because for the most part the most coverage a candidate gets is when they

announce the running for president and when they drop out of the campaign.

And so Nicky Haley got Fox News and CNN to train their cameras on her

so she could announce that she's going to keep going.

She does not care that she is likely to lose in South Carolina, her home state,
