Very good morning to you. It's three minutes after ten, and you are indeed listening to James O'Brien on LBC,

where we will, perhaps, later in the programme, explore one of those very rare areas of life where the world of Ferrari and the world of O'Brien intersect.

I too met my wife at work and I respond to the story of the McDonald's chief executive being

forced to step down after engaging in a consensual relationship with a co-worker or employee

similarly intriguing. I'll be looking for a slightly more modern interpretation perhaps than I can

provide myself later in the program. I also like the story about the notion of religious free

assemblies at school. Some doctors and nurses, or doctors in particular, a warning against

the politicisation of the NHS. I wonder how we feel about that.

And these comments about billionaires made by Jeremy Corbyn and others,

would we be able, do you think, to have an intelligent conversation about that?

Or have we, as a nation, been so successfully groomed by our our right wing media that we can't actually separate too rich from rich?

I don't know if you've ever noticed this, but I think it's fair to say, isn't it?

That there is a very successful tabloidy billionaire funded attempt to conflate rich and too rich.

So every time somebody says, I think it's possible to be too rich, which I think is all that

the rhetoric of suggesting that billionaires shouldn't exist in a fair society contains,

then completely deceitful and dissembling people getting paid a hell of a lot of money by billionaires

will put a lot of effort into persuading you that this is an attack on the rich. It's not an attack on

the rich. It's a suggestion that it's possible in a fair society to be too rich, which seems to me

to positively sing with irresistible logic.

But we shall discover later in the programme whether it is possible in a,

in a groomed nation, a gaslit nation,
