This is Derek Bodner, joined by Rich Hoffman on the Sixers Beat, a part of the Athletics Podcast Network.

We've had a couple of wins here, a couple of preseason wins, a nice bounce back win

like anybody really cares, a win over the Toronto Raptors in a rematch, and then a win

over the Brooklyn Nets when the Sixers were down, pretty much everybody on the team who

could dribble, which admittedly is not all that many,

but they obviously had no Ben Simmons, they had no Jake Milton, no Tyrese Maxi, missing a lot of players, but Tobias Harris, who can sort of kind of dribble a little bit, and they were left

with starting a backcourt of Furkan Korkmaz and Isaiah Joe pulled out a big win over

Kevin Durant, James Hardin, and a Brooklyn net. But that is not what we are going to talk about,

lead this episode off with. We'll talk about it a little bit, but nobody really cares. And

unfortunately, I wish I cared. Maybe we'll start caring in the regular season a little more.

A, because it's preseason, but B, because that never-ending story got yet another update because

that is the hell that we live in.

But other than that, Rich, how are you doing?

I'm good.

I wish I didn't have to care about this, what we're about to talk about for the next 23 minutes.
