Time to talk a little bit more, Notre Dame football recruiting.

This is, we've kind of been teasing this that Wednesday is going to be our new regular

recruiting day on the show.

And so Brian's going to be dropping in every week to update what's going on. But I mean, right now this is like the third time in less than a week, Brian. People are going to start talking, I think, at some point. Hey, they might be talking about, hey, Sean's taking this ban of Driscoll off of the show. This is awesome. I love it. The ban is lifted. That's right.

Now people are going to go.

Now you can have people talking, what? There was a ban? What's going on? No, I know, right. I shouldn't have said that. Now people are going to believe it, especially around here. Now I'm excited. Recruiting's ramping up. That's why this is the perfect time. You i mean signed four or landed four commitments in the last

week and some big ones obviously but uh a lot more to come a lot more at least they're a lot more

better come because they're not quite where they need to be with this clash yet although they're

off to a great start yeah i mean they're they're working you know like you said champ mons the

quarterback aden oNeill, the defensive

in, and then earlier this week, Titus Hawk and Jackson Coleman, all for the 2027 class.

I wanted to ask you that I was thinking about this the other day.

I mean, it's been, what, a month and a half now since St. Patrick's Day.

It's just flown right by. Why no pot of gold? Do you know why they decided not to do that this year? Or maybe any more? You know, I don't know. Yeah, I just think it's because it wasn't their thing. It was Chad's thing. And they did it last year because it was already, they'd already put a lot of work into it. And so, yeah, it's probably.

And then, you know, they just, they want to be doing offers differently now. I think a lot of it just had to do with it was Chad's thing. So we're going to do our own thing. But I, I mean, I think it's a missed opportunity. Yeah. That's exactly how I feel. And that's why I just wish sometimes you put you put egos aside sometimes and just say you know what like this is a pretty cool thing

and obviously the the roster that we have right now, if you're looking at it from their standpoint, the roster we have right now that we everybody thinks is one of the best in the country was in large part put together during his 10 years, the recruiting coordinator. There's no need to be that way. I mean, there's other reasons, too, that are also practical.

Like, we don't want to wait until March to offer some of these top players, and that's fine, then reoffer kids. But I just feel like even if you're not going to do a pot of gold where you're just offering a bunch of kids that day, you just still have some sort of St. Patrick's Day push because there's no other, like what other team has a holiday that you associate with your football program? Like, why wouldn't you make that a thing? Even if you don't want it to be an offer push because you want to practically get offers out soon. I mean, they're already offering 29 kids, Sean. I mean, it's just the, and they have to be. They can't wait till next March to start offering the best 29 kids. They're going to be too far behind or actually be the, you had to be the 29 kids. You're going to be too far behind, but there's still do something on St. Patrick's Day moving forward. Feels like a natural. Like it, like when they did start doing it, felt like a natural that they were doing something on. You're like, why haven't they been doing? Because like Chad didn't start that. That actually started before Chad got here, I believe. I think that actually started. I think Mike Elson was still here when that kind of got rolling. But maybe I'm incorrect on that. But I remember them doing things like that before. But it still will be something you need to. Stanford's Arbor Day.
