Before we get into today's episode, I want to let you know about one of the biggest hidden causes of fatigue that most people never really consider. And that is nutrient deficiencies. First of all, did you know that your body requires, requires over 30 different vitamins and minerals in adequate or optimal amounts |

| 0:52.2 | recommended daily allowances for things like vitamin A, calcium, and |
| 0:56.5 | magnesium. And if you look at data on the percentage of the population in the U.S. that are not |
| 1:03.9 | meeting the recommended daily allowance for many, many of these different vitamins and minerals, |
| 1:09.3 | here's what we find. And this is the actual data. |
| 1:11.9 | So you see things like deficiencies in B vitamins like riboflavin and niacin and thiamin and |
| 1:17.8 | B12 and B6 are extremely common. Over one in three people or around one in three people |
| 1:25.4 | are deficient in at least one of those things. |
| 1:28.7 | Then you have folate, which is another B vitamin. Over 75% of the population is not getting |
| 1:35.4 | adequate levels of folate. These are critical cofactors involved in energy production |
| 1:41.9 | at the cellular level. And deficiencies are shockingly common. |
| 1:47.3 | Then you have other minerals. |
| 1:49.0 | You have things like zinc deficiency, magnesium deficiency, calcium deficiency, |
| 1:53.5 | vitamin E deficiency, vitamin C deficiency. |
| 1:57.8 | And we can see on and on and on that, you know, 50% or more of the population |
