LGBTQ people are under attack in this country between book bands, anti-trans bills,

health care bans, and more.

Whether we're standing up for birth control, libraries, diversity and inclusion, or trans kids, it's all the same fight against

extremism. Today, we'll be joined by Vanessa Joy, a trans woman in Ohio who is disqualified from

running for the Ohio House of Representatives for not putting her former name on her

petition. But before we get to that, I think we have to talk about how the Senate blocked a bill

last week that would have protected our right to birth control. I think it's really crazy, right?
