We learned that he is the grandson of Herod the Great.

He was that guy that killed all the young boys in an attempt to do away with Jesus.

And Herod Agrippa is a murderer just like his grandfather.

He killed James, the brother of John. And when he saw that this

pleased the Jews, he also tried to kill Peter. Well, as we join our teaching today,

Herod has gone to his vacation home in Cessaria and is about to have a most unusual encounter.

With the full story, here now is Pastor John. Now, when he gets to

Cessarium, an interesting thing happens to Herod, verse 20. Now Herod was highly displeased with

them of Tyre and Sidon, two cities up north in the area of Lebanon today.

He was displeased with those that were residing in Tyre and Sidon.
