Good morning, I'm Ali Velshi. It's Sunday, March 21st. We begin this morning with the most critical story of the day, the rise in hate crimes against Asian Americans. Crowds took

to the street this weekend protesting against

the rash of violent attacks that we've witnessed across the country. The largest demonstrations

took place in Atlanta, right near the state Capitol building, four days after a white man

gunned down eight people at Atlanta area spas, most of them Asian American women. The recurring

After a week of pain, Americans, young and old, Asian, black, white, and more joined forces

and hands to stand against the rising tide of white supremacist hate and violence.

Obviously, white supremacy is a huge problem in this country.

So I thought that I should really show my support for solidarity between, you know, both

communities.

We just want to be a voice for those that can't speak, like our parents can't be here

or something.

We just want to be able to voice our opinion as well peacefully.
