All right, Rhino. So tell me a little bit about how many years did you do the designations,

and which ones were winning and losing years?

I did. I raced three years. I got nominated five times, I think, five times, two times, one.

So 95 was my first year, 96. I was going again. And then the last, again, Steel City was like one weekend or two weekends before.

The one in Spain and Greg Albertine ran over my foot in the first turn and broke my leg.

So I couldn't go and then Emig went.

So that was one time that I couldn't go.

I got nominated again and then I think 9-11 happened we didn't go then i got nominated again uh but i pulled myself out because

i was just riding like shit so actually almost six times i got nominated but i went three times so

95 was my first year i rode 125s all year and then i think at was shugelugal, La Rocco or Kedrowski, Cadrowski broke his arm. And he was riding 500s that year. So the bike was already going. You know, really back then, the Kalasaki was the only bike plus Honda. And so they came to me because I wrote some 500 races at Mammoth and did really good.

And they're like, hey, do you want to race the donations?

I said, yep.

And they're like, well, you know you have to ride to 500.

I said, I don't care.

Because it was always like one of my, it was always like one of my dreams to have the V on my helmet

and race for the United States.

So I said, cool, let's do it. So we did some testing.

And then we went there and I went two to, two, you know, against, you know, Smets. And we, I think we would have won if myself and Kurt didn't kind of collide at the last. I saw Kurt. Kurt got squirrely up the hill and you ran it. Boom. And yeah, I was pretty amazed. I crashed on that thing on a side of a hill, one kick started that 500.
