Summary

All things pass away. Political and religious institutions, the family, bodily health; nothing lasts. Everything dies. So often we seek our fulfillment and salvation in these things. But Christ is telling us not to. He is telling us to seek the one thing that will last: Himself. So long as we cling to Him will our lives be secure. He is the rock of our salvation.

Testament. So there's something about the end of things there in Malachi. Here's what

1:45.8

he said, low, the day is coming, blazing like an oven, when all the proud and evil

1:54.6

doers will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire. Well, it's

2:02.3

pretty strong stuff. Then we hear this, but for you who fear my name, there will arise

the son of justice with its healing rays. Now, it's typical of apocalyptic literature.

You've got bad news and good news, and the good news seems to have the last word. See,
