Okay, everyone, I am here live and kicking with Ange and Dee from the Crime Scene Insiders podcast, but you two are not just podcasters. You are

real life CSIs. I first met you guys in Newcastle at the True Crime Forum. That's what it's

called, right? Yes, that's right. And up there, there was three slots of talks that you could

choose to watch. and you guys were

were you on first we were the morning slot yeah yeah I thought you know what I've never heard

from a CSI in real life is that what attracted you that's what attracted to me yeah and then

I regret at it I'm only joking I just thought thought you guys were really funny in the way that you

spoke about it because it's a serious job that you do. But I think it's the same with all these

kind of jobs, whether it's a cop, a crime scene investigator, all these jobs that the normal person,

not that you're abnormal, would think that's a bit

above my pay grade. But having that dark humour seems quite a common thing with you guys.

But just briefly, whoever wants to start, just tell me about how you met and how you got into

this whole CSI thing. Do I take it, dear?

So me and Ange met at university at Teesside University.

We were studying crime scene science.

So we did go the degree route.

You don't need a degree to become a CSI, but we went the degree route and we met there.

And then on graduation, we both went to work for the same police force. And that's kind of where
