Alright so we have to talk about the trauma that you've gone through in the last year

why you happen to be wearing an ankle tracker right now what you've suffered since the events

of January 6th but for those who are unfamiliar with the walk away movement and with your story

will you walk us through your watch I call it your political awakening in the last few

years.

Sure yeah transformation transition yeah so in I was a lifelong liberal and two time

Obama voter Hillary Clinton supporter in 2016 honestly just something that I called myself

a Democrat by default because I'm a gay man and as a member of a minority community typically

the messaging that we receive is that the only choice that we there is no choice that

you have to be a Democrat you have to be a liberal and so that was the camp that I fell

into and it was after the election of 2016 in which the media that I trusted sources like

CNN and MSNBC in the New York Times etc kept saying that Hillary Clinton was going to win
